- What is Foreman?
- Foreman is your operator-facing AI assistant inside Hardtack. Ask it questions about your customers, jobs, invoices, and dispatch — by chat or browser microphone — and let it draft routine actions for you. Sensitive actions like refunds and outbound messages always require your explicit approval before they execute.
- Is my data used to train AI?
- No. Foreman uses your tenant's data to answer your questions, but your data is never used to train shared AI models. Conversations are encrypted at rest and retained on a 7-year schedule aligned to billing-dispute and DOT-compliance timelines.
- What happens when I hit my Foreman usage cap?
- You set two caps per operator: a notify threshold and a hard cap. When Foreman usage crosses the notify threshold, your admin gets an in-app and email alert so you can review activity. When it crosses the hard cap, Foreman pauses for the rest of the billing period — your voice agent and dispatch keep working as normal. Caps are configurable from the admin portal.
